Looking for family fun this week? We have ideas for you! Here are five fun things to do based around holidays, birthdays, and events happening in July this week in Arcadia!
1. Eat some Ice Cream
Because just one day won't do, July is ice cream MONTH. We think a scoop a day is the only way to celebrate. July 1-31
2. Eat a hot dog
How do you top your dog? A survey by the National Hot Dog and Sausage Council and The North American Meat Institute found 68 percent of hot dog-eating Americans top their hot dogs with mustard. Next is ketchup (61 percent), onions (44 percent), relish (41 percent), chili (30 percent), cheese (29 percent), and sauerkraut (20 percent). Celebrate National Hot Dog Day by enjoying a frankfurter with your favorites. July 20
3. Look up
It's the perfect time to get your kids interested in all things space! Head to the Griffith Observatory and watch a live show at the planetarium or stream the live broadcast of the Full Moon on Friday, July 19 at 6:55 pm. It'll be rising on the eastern horizon at its most southerly position in over 18 years! Watch HERE.
