Running Springs, CA - Snow Valley Mountain Resort offers a variety of learning packages for skiers and snowboarders divided into ages 4-12 and ages 13-and-up.
Group lessons for ages 4-12 at the Snow Valley Children’s Learning Center are geared toward all levels and focus on a traditional skiing and snowboarding experience by placing emphasis on the individual, with small class sizes and by paying close attention to developing and/or improving skills. The "Snow Valley Forest" for beginners only makes learning fun and is accessed by 2 easy-to-load conveyor lifts dedicated to the Children’s Learning Center; 2017-18 is the first full season for a new 300-foot moving carpet lift that expands Snow Valley's learning-only terrain by 40,000 square feet, a 200% increase. This boosts the number of runs new skiers and snowboarders can take during their lessons, more quickly preparing them to load regular chairlifts and mix with experienced skiers and snowboarders. It will also allow Snow Valley to provide more lessons.

Group lessons at the Children’s Learning Center include "Adventurers All Day" for ages 4-6 priced $109 weekday, $129 weekend and $139 holiday; Adventurers Half Day for ages 4-6 priced $79 weekday, $99 weekend and $112 holiday; Explorers All Day for ages 7-12 priced $92 weekday, $117 weekend and $127 holiday; and Explorers Half Day for ages 7-12 priced $72 weekday, $87 weekend and $102 holiday. Add $20 for equipment rentals: boots, skis/snowboard and poles. Full-day programs include lunch.
Children’s Learning Center full day programs are available from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Half-day lessons are available from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. or 1:30 p.m. to
4:00 p.m. Lessons begin promptly at designated start time. Check-in begins a half hour prior to lesson times. Participants and their parents/guardians should arrive early to purchase tickets, obtain rental equipment and check-in for the program. Arriving 1.5 hours prior to lesson times is suggested for peak weekends and holidays.
Group lessons for those ages 13 and up begin at 10 a.m., noon and 2 p.m. daily, are all 1.5 hours long and include equipment rentals: boots, skis/snowboard and
poles. The "Learn to Ski or Snowboard" package for first timers includes a lower mountain lift ticket, and prices are $74 weekday, $99 weekend and $109
holiday. The "Intermediate/Advanced" package includes a full mountain access lift ticket, and prices are $89 weekday, $109 weekend and $124 holiday.
Private lessons tailored to the student's ability and goals for the ultimate learning experience are offered at Snow Valley for ages 4-and-up in one or three hour
increments. Prices for one-hour lessons are $119 weekday, $139 weekend and $149 holiday. Prices for three-hour lessons are $269
weekday, $299 weekend and $309 holiday
Another student can join a private lesson for an additional hourly fee of $30 weekdays, $39 weekends and holidays. Private lesson prices do not include lift tickets or
rental equipment. Adult Ski Packages include skis, boots and poles for $34. The Child Ski Package (ages 12 and under) is $27.
