HOLIDAY EVENTS AT WESTFIELD SANTA ANITA INCLUDE “OPERATION: SANTA SALUTE”, WINTER WONDERLAND + HOLIDAY MARKET AND MORE!
Arcadia, CA (November 16, 2017) — Westfield Santa Anita today announced its initiatives for this holiday season as a part of Westfield’s #HowDoYouHoliday 2017 – a combination of services, amenities and experiences designed to make this special time of year enjoyable, meaningful, stylish, and even hassle-free. This year, Santa Anita’s holiday programming will focus on jovial activities including exciting tasty treats, arts programs, philanthropic activities and unique experiences for visitors of all ages.
On Saturday, December 2nd, visitors of Santa Anita can enjoy a day of appreciation for our active military and veteran families with “Operation: Santa Salute.” From 11AM-2PM in Center Court, Santa Anita visitors are invited to send a video message of encouragement or help stuff care packages for our current troops. In addition, active Military and Veterans families with valid government issued military/veteran ID will be eligible to receive one free 5x7 free photo with Santa throughout the day.
Guests of Santa Anita are invited to enjoy a “winter wonderland” from 4-7PM on Sunday, December 3rd at Santa Anita’s Winter Wonderland + Holiday Market event. Enjoy an ice rink, holiday petting zoo, holiday arts and crafts and performances in the Promenade including an exclusive performance from Jonah Platt and James Synder of Lythgoe Family Panto’s “Beauty and the Beast – A Christmas Rose.” Tickets for the Holiday Market portion of the event are $10 per person for all-inclusive bites and beverages from various restaurant partners including Bird Pick Tea, Benihana, Hai Di Lao, Monkey Bar and more. All proceeds from the event will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Santa Anita will celebrate Hanukkah with a Menorah Lighting Ceremony on Wednesday, December 13th from 5-7PM in Macy’s Court with Rabbi Chaim Hanoka of Pasadena. Visitors are invited to enjoy a special evening of food, fun and festivities.
