MacKid Review:
Kids of all ages are sure to enjoy Disney on Ice “Follow Your Heart”- as true to all Disney events, this show did not disappoint. The show appealed and captivated my 5 year old and 8 year old, who were glued to their seats and didn’t even want to leave to take a snack break during intermission, fearing they would miss any part of the second half of the show!
The sets and special effects were spectacular- and to my surprise, both Princess Rapunzel and Ariel featured amazing aerial performances. Rapunzel climbed a large draped fabric, that signified her long hair, while Ariel did a breathtaking performance on a rope!
My favorite part was seeing highlights from Finding Dory. They feature a large lifelike version of Hank the “Septopus.” It was remarkable to see him move about on ice! My children’s favorite was the grand finale with scenes from the movie Frozen. The segment incorporated fireworks and real snowfall and I love how they brought certain elements from the movie and added it to the show. My kids were captivated throughout the show and were singing along to all of the classical Disney songs we knew!
I highly recommend attending this show, Disney on Ice Follow Your Heart will impress you and your entire family!
