Mackid Review:
Every year we look forward to going to the Discovery Cube OC Bubblefest event, it has become a wonderful family tradition of ours. The time had finally come, I took the kids the see the Mega Bubble Laser Show and the Hands-on Bubblefest Exhibits, and I have to say this was the best bubble show I have EVER seen! There are two parts to the Bubblefest event. First up was the Mega Bubble show which is definitely a show you donāt want to miss. The Mega Bubble Laser Show was performed by the talented bubble scientist and performance artist Deni Yang. We watched him blow bubbles of all shapes, sizes, and colors- some filled with swirling smoke and some even dancing and rotating all on their own. He also invites a few kids on stage during the performance to participate in a few aspects of the show, and perform bubble tricks around them.
The grand finale was the mesmerizing laser show following by a GAZILLION bubbles released throughout the 10,000 square-foot Julianne Argyros Showcase Theater.
The hands-on Bubblefest exhibit featured water spheres, a bubble zone for guests of all ages and other bubble-focused educational experiments, inflatable activities, and special interactive activities for early learners who are 5 years old and younger. My kids and I absolutely loved crawling around inside the inflatable adult sized balls in the pool.
If you havenāt been to this exhibit yet, I highly recommend purchasing your tickets here to go see it. Each year they sell out, and the show only runs through April 16th.
