Blend it Healthy: The Healthy After-School Snack Pit-Stop

No matter how big of a lunch I pack my kids for school each day, they always seem to come home “Hangry.” (Yes, that’s a new word, combining hungry and cranky)  We have a short window of time from school pick-up until my daughter’s swim classes begin - and there’s not enough time to make a trip home to unwind. After school is a perfect time for everyone to take a break, have a nutritious snack, and catch-up before diving into homework and after school activities. Whenever I’m looking for a quick and healthy snack that would provide wholesome nutrients my kids need to thrive and help them concentrate on their after school activities, we always go to Blend It Healthy in Arcadia.
